Innovating Justice Forum 2012: Towards basic justice care for everyone

The Innovating Justice Forum 2012 will be attended by a select group of Rule of Law experts and representatives from international organisations whom have taken part in the Innovating Justice Forum.

More information will follow in due course. Below please find overview of our planning which will highlight important dates and actions in the period of December 2011 to 16 and 17 April 2012.

6 January 2012 | 1st Draft for framework of Innovating Justice Forum Report by HiiL

  • Draft of Part 1 (around 100 pages, descriptive part) and outline of
  • Part 2 Report (around 20 pages, Trends and Recommendations) distributed
  • Invitation to comment
  • 1 or 2 questions on specific sections of report for participant related to expertise
  • Request for short contribution (quote, description of a project, data, highlighting the expertise and activites of the participation to date)

  • This is the descriptive part with supporting knowledge and highlighted innovations

Event 16 April 2012 | Overview programme

  • 10 minute presentations by participants: what they have done, are doing or will do to strengthen innovative Justice Needs Approaches (innovations, programs);
  • Exploring strategies and identify most promising ones;
  • Exploring innovation climate and major challenges;
  • Discussions and vote/selection of concrete investments.

Event 17 April 2012 | Overview programme

  • Dialogue on how Justice Needs Approaches can be of help in Arab countries
  • Presentation of results: Part 2 of Towards Basic Justice Care Report: Trends and Recommendations
